2009 Shoot Information

There are two ASAA shoots scheduled in January. Both will be hosted by Black Sheep Archers on Elmendorf Air Force Base. The Indoor FITA will be held January 10-11, 2009 and the NFAA (5 Spot) will be on January 24-25, 2009.

All current members of ASAA are on a list at the Boniface Gate. You will need to show your vehicle registration and Proof of Insurance at the gate to get on base. Read flyer below for more specific information.

Indoor FITA Championship

January 10th and 11th
Shooting Times: Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am, 1:30 pm
A 4:00 pm line will be available if first two lines are full.

State Indoor Championship

January 24th and 25th
Shooting Times: Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am,  2:00 pm, and 5:00 pm

All Cubs requiring 10 yard targets will shoot at the earliest shooting time.

Remember shooting times are on a first come first serve basis.  Sign up early to get the time you would like.

To Get on Base: Enter through the Boniface gate of Elmendorf AFB.  A list of the members who have shot the past two years has been provided to Elmendorf AFB.  At the gate show them your drivers license and explain your purpose for wanting on base.  If you are not granted entry there will be someone from the club at the gate or within phone reach to help you.  Remember this is a Federal Installation and you are required to have current drivers license, current proof of insurance, and current vehicle registration.

Directions:  The indoor range is located in the north east corner of building 7271 at Gibson Ave on Elmendorf AFB. From Boniface Gate take Arctic Warrior Drive; turn right onto Gibson, the last building on the right, in the back.

You should be at the Club no later than thirty minutes before your scheduled shooting time to allow yourself time to register and warm up.
