| Letter from Kimberly Perkovich
It's me Kimberly Perkovich, or Peanut for some of you guys lol
I’m doing really well. I graduated from Bel-Rea Veterinarian Technician Institute in Denver, CO. I can’t believe I’ve been here two years already and that I’m so comfortable from where I was when I first got here! I never thought I would have done this well being out mostly on my own and away from my family and friends I grew up with.
Lilly, my dog was brought down to me by my dad, little bro and a close friend in June of 2008, three months after I started at Bel Rea. She is my Lab mix that I have had since December of 2006 and she is one of the best things I have in my life. She is my four legged child and I love her dearly. Some of you got to meet her at a few different tournaments.
Right now I am training for the Marine Corps. Yes, the Marines… I have always wanted to do something military and I have decided that I might as well go out for the hardest one out there.
I want to do this because I like the standards Marines are held up to and I think it’s something I will excel at. I am really excited for this and don’t worry, I’m going in with a job in mind and I will get everything I want to get from them. I know the risks and what could happen and that does not scare me because God is in my side and has me in his hand.
I just got back into archery down here and I just started a league last week. It’s a lot of fun, but it brings back a ton of memories from being back there and shooting with everyone. It’s kinda hard sometimes cause I miss being home and seeing all you guys.
Well I hope this finds you all doing great and doing well!!! I hope to see some of you if I make it home this summer.
